Description

Signed typescript from one of the Third Reich’s most vocal anti-Semites

Notorious Nazi and anti-Semitic activist who published the inflammatory propaganda newspaper Der Stürmer and who was convicted and hanged at the Nuremburg trials. DS, in German, signed “Str.,” one page, 8.25 x 11.5, no date. Page three of a typed manuscript bearing Streicher’s penciled notations and emendations. The text concerns an incident in an American college fraternity in which a maid had served as a prostitute for the students. She was induced in the course of an investigation to omit a certain “Jew boy” from her client list in order to prevent his expulsion, an action that Streicher characterizes as “typically Jewish.” Accompanied by a 1970 letter of provenance. In very good condition, with folds, wrinkles, a small marginal hole, and a few minor chips. R&R COA.
