Official Reach baseball signed in ink on the sweet spot, “Babe Ruth,” on one side panel “Lou Gehrig,” and on another side panel “Walter Johnson.” Ball is also signed by Harry Lord, Del Bissonette, Sam West and Dan MacFayden.” In very good condition, with Ruth’s signature rating a 4/5, Gehrig’s rating about a 6.5 and Johnson’s light but legible signature rating a 3/4, other signatures light but legible, toning to ball and an old coat of protective shellac. Arguably, baseball has never had a more storied pitcher-batter rivalry than that of Ruth and Johnson and their autographs are rarely seen on the same ball.
