Outstanding vintage pearl-finish 7.5 x 9.5 Burke photo of Ruth posing in his Yankee uniform, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Win Schuster from Babe Ruth, August 15, 1933.” Schuster owned the East Douglas baseball team in the Blackstone Valley baseball League, a team where future Hall of Famer Hank Greenberg got his start. In fine condition, with a couple lightly trimmed edges, signature and portion of inscription a couple shades light, but completely legible and photo affixed to an identical sizemount from prior framing.
