I think I made it clear in our meeting the other day that I do not under-value our relationship or the skilled efforts Ashley Famous has made on my behalf. We do have a record of achievement...As far as NBC goes, just to set the record straight, I have had private discussions with them for over a year now regarding...my going with that Network at some time in the future. My meeting in New York was not a negotiation of a possible deal but rather one of a number of friendly meetings with NBC people - - I have had similar meetings with other Networks and other studios along the same lines. Whether the cost of Ashley Famous in such an arrangement is too high...all such related questions, are yet to be decided and you may be sure in making such a decision I do not under rate the value and the skill of you personally or of the agency in general.”.
