Original poem written by tennis great Alice Marble

Tennis star of the 1930s and 1940s. Original handwritten poem on two 5 x 3 off-white pages, poem reads, in part, “This thing called tennis is just a racket to me - I lose the first three points, There’s still another chance to score, I lose the next one - that’s all there is no more.” A third page bears a fountain pen signature and inscription, “For Arthur L. Howard, With best wishes to anyone who has a interesting hobby. Sincerely, Alice Marble 1940.” In fine condition, with typed notations to bottom of signed page, punch holes to left edges and a couple small mounting remnants. COA Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
