Golf’s greatest amateur, signed in his heyday

Won US and British Opens plus U.S. and British Amateurs in 1930 to become golf’s only Grand Slam winner ever; from 1922-30, won 4 U.S. Opens, 5 U.S. Amateurs, 3 British Opens, and played in 6 Walker Cups. Jones also founded the Masters tournament in 1934. Vintage fountain pen signature and inscription, “For Arthur L. Howard, Robt. T. Jones, Jr., Atlanta, Ga.,” on an off-white 5 x 3 page, dated September 22, 1928. In fine condition, with collector’s notations to bottom, punch holes to left edge and three small spots of mounting remnants. COA Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
