Lot of two items: Vintage ballpoint signature, “Best wishes, Hank Aaron,” on a white 3 x 4 slip; and a vintage ballpoint signature and inscription, “To Arthur, Phoenix Ariz. Mar. 17th 1955, Best wishes, Willie Mays,” on a white 5 x 3 page. Both items bear typed collector’s notations, one stating that Aaron’s signature was obtained in Milwaukee on April 17, 1958, the other stating that Mays’ signature was obtained during spring training in 1955. In fine condition, with aforementioned notations away from signatures, two small pieces of tape to edges of Mays (away from writing), and binding holes to right edge of Mays, slightly touching one number of inscription.
