The youngest of the five Ringling brothers, he was the last surviving brother and in 1929 purchased the Circus Corporation of America, which gave him control of eleven circuses. Original 1927 season pass, 4 x 2.5, for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus combined shows, issued to Mr. W. S. Dawson & Party, signed by Ringling in fountain pen.
