Handsome silent screen actor/director who died in 1923 at the age of 31 as a result of alcohol addiction and a morphine habit instigated by the studio Famous Players. He appeared in over one hundred films, most notably Birth of a Nation. Rare fountain pen signature on a white 5 x 3 page.
