TLS, one page, 7.25 x 11, personal letterhead, October 16, 1953. Letter to the PR Director of the Parker Pen Company, regarding the pen Truman used to sign the authorization of the use of the atomic bomb in World War II. In part, “I have no objection to your keeping the pen…if you don’t use it for commercial advertising purposes. Sometime when I get my library constructed I will want to put the pen in that building.” Framed to an overall size of 11.25 x 15.5. In fine condition. R&R COA.
