Tennyson,” which reads, in part: “My best wishes for your institution and my regrets that it is totally impossible for me to be among you on 28 December’; an ALS, 4.5 x 7.5, July 12, 1882, personal. letterhead, signed “A. Swinburne,” which reads, in part: “I am obliged to you for sending me the newspaper…” Each piece is affixed a slightly larger beveled gilt mount and the three are attractively shadow-box framed to an overall size of 20 x 12. In overall very good to fine condition, with rough edges to all, a couple of areas of paper loss to left corners of the Swinburne letters and a rusted paper clip impression to the Tennyson.
