TLS, one page, personal letterhead, December 16, 1982. Letter to fellow cartoonist Emil V. Abrahamian, cartoonist, artist and political activist. Abrahamian published a bi-weekly comic feature in Saudi Arabia's largest English language newspaper, The Arab News. This feature contained two comic strips and four panel cartoons: Stumpy Stumbler, The Spacers, Space Shots, Impressions, Animal Chatter and The Sports File. Later on, he developed the panel cartoon Endangered Animals and Their Environment. His work has also been published in the Middle East and The United Kingdom. Schulz writes to his fellow cartoonist, in part: “It is difficult for me really to advise you what you should do with your strips you have accumulated. I think that the Stumpy is your best work, and I should think that a syndicate might be interested. I am afraid that book sales on a relatively unknown feature might not be as good as you would hope. If you have not sent these strips around, perhaps you should do so. Thanks for letting me see your work. Good luck to you.” In fine condition, with a small area of discoloration near the date, a few minor creases. PSA/DNA COA and R&R COA.
