Moonwalker. ALS signed “Jim Irwin, Apollo 15,” one page, 8.5 x 11, High Flight Foundation letterhead, October 27, 1980. Irwin recounts his experience walking on the moon. In part, “Gravity on the moon was 1/6th of Earth so you could feel very light – much like an angel! We could not walk as we walk on Earth because of the restrictions of the suit. We must have appeared like kangaroos! Occasionally we fell down because we tripped on rock submerged in dust of moon surface.” Irwin adds a small crescent moon sketch after his signature as well. In fine condition. R&R COA.
