Revolutionary War bill for gun locks

ALS, one page, 8 x 5.75, August 21, 1777. A request to pay John Page for 24 gun locks used during the Revolutionary War. Page was the richest man in America at the time and a life-long friend of Thomas Jefferson. In very good condition, with expected age and handling wear, irregularly trimmed right edge, a small area of paper loss not affecting legibility. R&R COA.
