Lot of three items. ALS, signed, “Cesar Romero,” one page, dated May 23, 1990. Letter of response regarding the then–new Batman movie. In part, “I was not asked to play the Joker in the new Batman picture and Jack Nicholson did not ask me for any advise. I played the Joker as a fun character for laughs, but Nicholson played him as a hardened murdering criminal. The two cannot be compared.” Also included is a color glossy 8 x 10 photo of Romero as the Joker, signed and inscribed in black ink and a color glossy 8 x 10 photo of Nicholson as the Joker, signed in blue felt tip. In fine condition. R&R COA.
