Unique custom made poster, 17 x 22, with a color image of a flag–draped moon, President John F. Kennedy’s famous quote from 1961 concerning sending men to the moon, and a small Philco–Ford emblem. Poster is signed in ink and felt tip by over 110 participants and support staff of the Apollo missions, most notable are felt tip signatures of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin and a ballpoint signature of Michael Collins. All three are located along the top edge. Remainder of signatures are from Philco–Ford employees, who had an integral role in mission operations as they were the prime contractor for the Mission Control Center (MCC) at MSC. Poster is affixed to a slightly larger card. In very good condition, with slightly noticeable cuts from applications of images and quotes, Aldrin’s signature very light, but legible, some light adhesion trouble to Armstrong’s signature as well as several other signatures, a tack hole to each corner and a light shade of overall toning.
