A lengthy Virginia legal document, written in Henry’s hand, concerning a bound sum of one thousand pounds between Richard Booker and Thomas Scott. Signed five times on the page, “Patrick Henry,” in the text, “P. Henry,” once in the text and once on the docketing on reverse, and “Henry” twice in the text. In good condition, with document having been professionally silked, professional repair to a 3.75 x 2 area of paper loss to lower right corner, scattered toning and soiling, several other small spots of paper loss from ink erosion and Henry’s signatures underlined in another hand.
