Vintage matte-finish 7.75 x 9.75 portrait of Leigh as she appeared in Anna Karenina, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “Persis [?] Vivien, [?].” Persis was a woman who joined Cecil Beaton’s studio staff in 1946 and was assigned to act as Beaton’s Design Assistant on Anna Karenina. The photo is affixed to a 10 x 12 board. In overall fine condition, with staining and trivial soiling to the board, scattered surface impressions, a couple of minor creases and Leigh’s signature light but legible in the photo. R&R COA.
