Western actor. Vintage sepia matte-finish 7.5 x 9.25 photo of Hart in profile with his six shooters drawn, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “For Capt. Clyde Balsley from William S. Hart.” Balsley flew for France in the years before World War I and became the first American aviator to be seriously wounded in the war. In fine condition, with a few scattered surface dings, tiny tear to right edge, two very mild corner bends. R&R COA.
