Won US and British Opens plus U.S. and British Amateurs in 1930 to become golf's only Grand Slam winner ever; from 1922-30, won 4 U.S. Opens, 5 U.S. Amateurs, 3 British Opens, and played in 6 Walker Cups. Jones also founded the Masters tournament in 1934. Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of a young Jones on his back swing while playing a fairway iron, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “For Audrey Baxter, With best wishes, Robt. T. Jones, Jr.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in another hand. In very fine condition, with a couple light bends and some trivial rippling to left edge.
