Personal check, 8.25 x 3, filled out and signed by Laurel, payable to Southern California Gas Company for $24.65, February 16, 1929. This was the year in which Laurel and Hardy made Big Business, one of their most highly regarded films. In fine condition, with light vertical crease between first and last names, usual ink stamps and punch cancellation (not touching signature), and a pencil notation at the bottom edge, just touching the paraph beneath the signature.
