Handsome actor who enjoyed a busy career during the silent era as a romantic lead opposite such stars as Mary Pickford, Norma Talmadge, and Clara Bow. He made the transition to sound with a series of B westerns and a role in the Mae West classic Klondike Annie before his death in 1939. Vintage glossy 7.75 x 9.5 photo in cowboy duds, signed and inscribed in purple fountain pen, “Best wishes to Sonia Turney, Conway Tearle.” In fine condition, with some light bends and surface impressions and a tiny tear touching the background only.
