Gilmore “Commissary of Subsistence of Volunteers with the rank of Captain.” Signed at the conclusion by Lincoln and countersigned by Secretary of War Stanton. In very good condition, with heavy overall wrinkling from moisture exposure, all writing light and washed out looking but legible, worn seal, some soiling, and a few small cracks to document from fragile condition.
