Roosevelt makes no excuses for his support of the war effort, “I hope you see what I at times write about the war. I have taken my stand unequivocally.”

TLS, one page, 7.75 x 9.5, personal letterhead, October 7, 1915. Short letter to Moreton Frewen. In full, “I thank you for the letter and for the clipping you enclosed. I hope you see what I at times write about the war. I have taken my stand unequivocally.” In very good condition, with bisecting mailing folds, one through a single letter of signature, slight show through from notations on reverse, light edge wear and some spotting above and below text.
