Screen tough guy, offscreen softy: McQueen transfers rights to his Children’s Trust

One of the most revered actors of his generation, he is remembered for his wild antics and lifestyle and is best remembered for his roles in Papillon, Bullitt, The Thomas Crown Affair, The Sand Pebbles, The Cincinnati Kid, The Great Escape and The Magnificent Seven. DS, signed twice as “Steven T. McQueen,” one page, 8.5 x 11, no date. Legal document of assignment where McQueen “transfers and assigns all of his right, title and interest in and to the Joint Venture to the trustees for the McQueen Children’s Trust. The trustees for the McQueen Children’s Trust accept such Joint Venture interest and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions of the agreement.” Signed twice at the conclusion by McQueen, including once as a trustee, as well as two others, Kenneth Ziffren and William J. Maher. In fine condition, with a torn staple hole to top left, bisecting horizontal fold and a small “x” next to each McQueen signature. R&R COA.
