Confirmation of an agreement reads, in part: “In the event that upon the completion of your services in connection with the photoplay entitled To Catch a Thief you shall direct and produce the photoplay entitled The Trouble With Harry for Alfred M. Hitchcock Productions, Inc. during the first Outside Period, say photoplay entitled The Trouble With Harry, although not one (1) of the three (3) photoplays provided for in your said employment agreement, shall not be deemed to be an Outside Photoplay.” Hitchcock’s large, bold fountain pen signature appears at the lower left. In very good condition, with usual file holes to top border, scattered light creasing, show through from a bit of adhesive on the reverse in the lower left corner far from the signature, a small PSA/DNA label is affixed to the lower left corner.
