Won US and British Opens plus U.S. and British Amateurs in 1930 to become golf's only Grand Slam winner ever; from 1922-30, won 4 U.S. Opens, 5 U.S. Amateurs, 3 British Opens, and played in 6 Walker Cups. Jones also founded Masters tournament in 1934. Signed book: Golf Is My Game. NY: Doubleday and Company, 1960. Hardcover with dustjacket, 6.25 x 9.5, 255 pages. Signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint on the first free end-page, “For John Shealy, With best wishes, Bob Jones.” In fine condition, with some chipping and fading to the dust jacket. A terrific volume containing insights gleaned from fourteen years of championship competition, over fifty photograph and sketches illustrating Jones’ basic principles, and a hole-by-hole account of the famous Augusta National Course.
