Terrific lot of two items includes: an official NASA Routing Slip, 8.5 x 11, dated 12/9/87. The slip, from one Lubert Leger has the handwritten notation, “Bud review and prepare short assessment for John [Young].” The typewritten portion, or short assessment, reads, in part, “…He thought this better 2219 could save weight in the external tank. Since its temperature properties are better higher, and it is being suggested as armor plate; it might be a weight saver and debris stopper for the Space Station modules too.” The routing slip is signed “John Young” in black ink in the lower left; and, an official NASA color 8 x 10 photo of John Young in uniform, signed and inscribed “To Brian Shine” in black felt tip. In fine condition. Would make a great display. R&R COA.
