ALS signed “Audrey,” one page, 5.5 x 3.5, the reverse of a La Quinta Hotel postcard letterhead, no date. A missive to her friend, Anita Loos (who is now best known for her book Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, she was one of Hollywood's foremost early screenwriters). It reads, in part: “How my hands are really black when I read the papers…Thank you for your sweet thought. I shall kiss you properly when we see fall. Arriving 7th January. Love till then. xxx Audrey.” In fine condition, with typical postal markings, a stamp in the lower left which reads “From the Estate of Anita Loos.” R&R COA.
