She exhibited such control over his films that Paramount barred her from her husband’s sets; they divorced shortly afterward. Vintage sepia matte-finish 11 x 14 photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Mathilda E. Scammodan, With my wish for your success, Most sincerely, Natacha Rambova.” Matted and framed to an overall size of 16.5 x 19. In fine condition, with a couple light creases, a bit of contrast to part of inscription against dark portion of photo and photographer’s signature “Ball” in the lower right. R&R COA.
