Fabulous early Hartsook portrait of Silent Screen comedy legend, Mack Sennett

Director; founder in 1912 of Keystone Studios, which introduced to silent-film comedy (and to the world!) the likes of Fatty Arbuckle, Mack Swain The Keystone Kops and Charles Chaplin. Vintage 7.75 x 9.5 Hartsook portrait, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To my best friend Tony Sullivan, With best wishes, Mack Sennett.” Matted and framed to an overall size of 14 x 16. In fine condition, with lightly trimmed edges and light impressions to edges from previous framing. R&R COA.
