Original hand-drawn four-panel strip in pencil, 12.25 x 4.5, depicts Mickey playing golf and losing a golf ball in a bird’s nest. The strip is accompanied by an affadavit of authority signed by Gottfredson’s son which reads, in part: “Floyd Gottfredson started working as an animator for Walt Disney in 1929 and worked for the next 45 years as a cartoonist for the Mickey Mouse daily strips. I do attest that this is an original storyboard comic sketch that was hand-drawn by my father.” In fine condition. R&R COA.
