Description

If not the two greatest tap dancers ever, they are certainly the most beloved dance team in the history of entertainment. Fantastic vintage glossy 8 x 10 full-length photo of the two dancing in tuxedos, with the imprinted “Nicholas Brothers, London, 1936-1937” in the border beneath the image, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Mush, ‘Keep A Twinkle In Your Eye’ Nicholas Brothers, Harold and Fayard, 1937.” Characteristically, Fayard has signed for both brothers. In fine condition, with bit of wear to left edge and two small areas of discoloration (possibly burn marks), both of which could easily be matted out. Collector’s notation on the revere reads “Babes In Arms, Fri., Aug. 13, 1937.” R&R COA.
