Napoleon assists the father-in-law of an Aide-de-Camp who was killed in battle in Napoleon’s service

DS, in French, signed “Bonaparte,” one page, 7.5 x 9, no date. Napoleon’s instructions regarding a petition presented to him by Darton, a former magistrate in Paris and the father-in-law of Muiron, an aide-de-camp killed at the Battle of Arcole in the service of General Bonaparte. Darton asks for a position at the Council of State or at any administration. Boldly signed at the conclusion in black ink by Napoleon.
