TLS, one page, 5.5 x 3.5, November 29, 1982 on the correspondence side of a postcard. A letter of response to a fan which reads, in part: “…There’s been a lot of mail lately (most of it as nice as your letter, so I can’t complain too much), and little time in which to answer it. I’ve been wiring, and just finished next summer’s book, Christine. I think you’ll like the last book, Different Seasons. It’s four short stories, none really ‘horror,’ but all of them good stories I think. I win some, I lose some. If I write horror, some will shout ‘Try something else!’, if I don’t, others shout ‘Hey, I miss the horror! What to do? A little of both, I suppose.” King’s postcard is stapled to the fan’s letter. In fine condition, with couple of corner creases, bit of edge wear. R&R COA.
