“The Great One.” Comedian, actor, composer and conductor. He was not only a boxer and carnival barker in his early years, but also a pool hustler. Namesake of the Jackie Gleason (formerly 5th Avenue) Bus Depot in Brooklyn, NY. DS, one page both sides, 8.5 x 14, William Morris Agency letterhead, March 18, 1946. Exclusive agency contract between Gleason and the agency for a period of three years at the usual fee of ten per cent. Boldly signed “Jackie Gleason” in ink at the conclusion. In fine condition, with usual file and staple holes to top edge, scattered faint creasing, small separation to the right edge, a horizontal fold touching a few letters of the signature. R&R COA.
