Detailed drawing shows an aviator sitting atop his plane backwards. According to research, the Blue Max was a bar in Lahaina, which closed approximately fifteen years ago, and the actual type of contest is unclear.In fine condition, with some scattered light toning and spotting, mostly to unused areas of the canvas, as well as some small amounts of liquid paper and light toning from previous display.
