DS, 48 pages, 8.5 x 11, Paramount Pictures letterhead, February 17, 1956/ Agreement between Gable and Paramount Pictures regarding his employment as the lead role in two films to be produced “during the two years commencing on January 1,1959.” Gable’s large, bold signature appears on page 47. The films were It Happened In Naples and Teacher’s Pet. In this document, Gable agrees to a salary of $25,000 per week. The agreement goes on to detail advertising, the use of Gable’s likeness, locations, transportation, etc. Accompanied by several unsigned related documents. In fine condition, with the contract is in its original binder with a slide clip to the top, light staining to the upper left corner of the pages, scattered light creasing, staple holes and office notations.
