Colorful ten franc bank note, 5.5 x 3.5, issued by the “Banque D’eteat Du Maroc” signed in fountain pen by Humphrey Bogart, his then wife May and his agent Don Cummings. The “Banque D’eteat Du Maroc” is, of course, the Bank of Morocco, and Casablanca is Morocco’s largest city; the note is dated 1943, a year after Bogart’s classic Casablanca was made, making this a great association piece! Signatures a couple shades light, but legible, bisecting vertical fold and some scattered light toning, otherwise fine condition. PSA/DNA COA and R&R COA.
