Wonderful vintage glossy 8 x 10 Hurrell photo of Crawford as she appeared in Grand Hotel, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Jerome Zifkin from Joan Crawford.” This is considered to be the first ‘all star’ movie. It was certainly MGM's most opulent film up to that time. The studio loaded it with an A List of star performers: Greta Garbo, John Barrymore, Lionel Barrymore, Wallace Beery, Joan Crawford, Lewis Stone, Jean Hersholt, Rafaela Ottiano and Ferdinand Gottschalk. Clipped top right corner, some scattered light surface impressions and a couple thin ink lines in inscription, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA.
