Following the murder, and the end of her film career in 1923, she lived as a recluse in California, refusing all requests for her autograph. Vintage matte-finish 9.5 x 7.5 portrait of the radiant young actress, signed and inscribed in fountain pen 'Success to you Mr. Bellman, Sincerely, Mary Miles Minton.'
