In part, 'I would be very glad to see you, but I deem it nothing but fair to say that I cannot hold out any hope of my being present at the 'Battlefield Encampment' at Knoxville next September. I would be delighted to come, but I find that my engagement list is already larger than I desire.' Double matted and framed with a color image of McKinley and a biographical plaque, to an overall size of 21 x 18. In fine condition, with some scattered light soiling and creasing. RRAuction COA.
