Outstanding signed lunch menu from Le Talbooth Hotel, Dedham, Suffolk, signed on July 1, 1963, the day the Beatles recorded She Loves You. Menu measures 6 x 9 and is signed on the reverse in blue ballpoint, 'Paul McCartney,' who adds 'Beatles,' 'John Lennon,' 'Ringo Starr,' and 'George Harrison.' Signatures were obtained by the hotel's chef. The Beatles had played the previous night in Great Yarmouth and stopped for lunch enroute to EMI Studios in London, where they recorded their classic hit She Loves You.' In fine condition, with a heavy bisecting horizontal fold, not affecting any signatures, and some mild toning and light spotting, not detracting from the bold signatures. Accompanied by copies of two pages from a Christie's South Kensington auction catalog, illustrating photos of the Beatles posing with the hotel's chef who originally obtained the signatures.
