Creator of Tarzan. Group lot of four personal checks ranging in size from 7.75 x 3 to 8.25 x 3, filled out and signed 'E.R. Burroughs.' The checks are payable to four different parties and are dated November 15,1927; August 26, 1934; October 28,1937; and, January 14,1939. They are in overall very good condition, with vertical folds affecting a couple of letters in two checks, cancellation holes touching one letter of one signature, and paid/cancellation stamps touching portions of three signatures.
