An original signed handwritten poem by Stuart Sutcliffe on a 4.5 x 3.5 off-white lined slip. Poem is entitled Lament of Spring and reads, 'Spring no more is happiness, but sorrow; Death and destruction, for Natures Scholer [sic]; Reaching, stretching, gaining, Man will be the victor.
