An original unsigned color oil painting of a gray horse on a 10 x 8 piece of treated wood. To the right in red paint is 'Snapshots,' with 'F. H. S.,' and '49' added in cut out material, which appears to be alligator skin. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Dean's classmate Richard Goren, stating 'I witnessed the painting of this horse painted for me by James Dean.' In fine condition. RRAuction COA.
