Three great letters from George and Barbara Bush to Tim Curtin. Two letters are typed letters signed dated January 10, 2000 and March 14, 2000. The January 10th letter reads, "Dear Tim, Your December 20 letter was a very thoughtful one, indeed. Thanks for those kind words, and thanks especially for your support for our son, George. He is a decent, honest man, Tim, and he won't let you down. Barbara and I celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary quietly at home. How kind of you to remember. It's been a very happy, fulfilling 55 years. Warm regards to you and Karen, and thank you again for writing. Sincerely, George Bush." The March 14th letter reads, "Dear Tim, Thanks for your great letter. No worries about my health. That heart fibrillation went away as fast as it arrived and all is well. We are so darn proud of George W. and are thrilled that he now has the GOP nomination all wrapped up. I honestly believe he can beat Gore come fall. Thanks so much for checking in. Warm regards. Sincerely, George Bush." Also in this archive is an autographed letter signed by Barbara addressed to Tim and dated Nov. 15, 2002. Barbara wrote, "Dear Tim - Thanks for your nice note about George, Laura and Colu's great evening. I honestly think it was a victory for the country. My best to you and Karen. Warmly, Barbara.'
