Magnificent pair of matte-finish 5.75 x 8.25 matched portraits. The young queen, resplendent in formal gown and jewels, signs 'Elizabeth R,' her husband, crisply turned out in his Royal Navy uniform, signs 'Philip;' both sign on the mount and date 1957. Professionally affixed to photographer's mounts, then matted and gold framed to 10.5 x 13.5. In fine condition, with some UV fading to both signatures, which are still clear and dark, light emulsion color changes to the upper edge of the queen's portrait, and chipping to the frames.
