Welsh poet who died of alcohol abuse at age 39. Wrote The Map of Love, In Country Sleep, and most memorably Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night. TLS, one page, 5.5 x 7, June 18, 1936. Letter to John Johnson. In part, 'I was in London some days ago, but had unfortunately left your address behind, and I didn't know any quick way of getting hold of it...Could we have lunch, or a lunchtime drink...Do let me know, won't you? Thanks for writing and for the nice things you said. We can talk about plays and things when we meet.' In fine condition.
