TLS signed 'Theo . S. Geisel,' one page, 7.25 x 10.5, Dr. Seuss letterhead, February 16, 1961. Response to an invitation to speak at Pasadena City College. In part, 'I wish I could accept, but unfortunately my writing and publishing duties have become so heavy that I am having to call a moratorium on all speaking for at least six months.' In fine condition, with a single staple hole to top left corner and a red pencil notation, 'no,' to top right corner. RRAuction COA.
